In short: Bio Gel gives a natural yet sturdy result, Solar is our pink & white system with a built-in French, and dip powder delivers rich, long-wearing colour. This page answers a more practical question: which service to book based on where your nails are today.
Your nails are bare
Book a full set: Bio Gel ($70) for a natural look, Solar ($60) for pink & white, or dip powder ($50, or $60 with an extension). If you only want lasting colour with no added thickness or length, Gel Polish ($30) is enough.
You already have a set done here
After a few weeks, a nail fill costs less than a new set: Bio Gel refill ($60) or Solar refill ($50 with Shellac, $55 with colour powder). We fill in the regrowth and rebalance the shape without starting over. Dip powder is redone completely instead: “Take off + Dip Powder” ($55) includes the removal.
You want stronger nails without extra length
Choose an overlay: the product goes directly over your natural nail, with no extension. Bio Gel overlay $65, Solar overlay $55. It's a good fit if you like short nails but are tired of them bending and splitting.
You're coming in with a set from another salon

What to expect at your appointment
Plan on about 60 minutes for a Bio Gel or Solar full set, 45 minutes for dip powder or a Solar refill with Shellac, and roughly 30 extra minutes if an old set needs to come off.
- Consultation: length, shape (square, oval, almond, coffin), colour and your daily habits (hands-on work, hands often in water, lots of typing).
- Removal of your old set if needed, done gently, never peeled off.
- Natural nail prep: cuticles pushed back, surface cleaned and lightly buffed. This step largely determines how well the set holds.
- Application: extension if wanted, building the product, then shaping with a file.
- Finish: Shellac, colour powder or a nail art add-on, depending on what you chose.
- Aftercare tips and a suggested date for your next fill.

Making your set last
Wear time depends on your nails and your routine. In practice, most people come back for a fill or a new set after two to four weeks. A few simple habits make a real difference:
- Wear gloves for dishes and cleaning: water and household cleaners encourage lifting.
- Don't use your nails as tools (opening cans, scraping off labels).
- Moisturize your cuticles daily with an oil or cream.
- A corner is lifting? Don't pull at it: gently file the edge and book an appointment.
- A broken nail between visits can often be fixed (nail repair from $7) without redoing the whole set.
