Getting here
Mont-Bleu is well connected to Gatineau's main roads, which makes it easy to reach from most parts of the city and from Ottawa. The directions below are deliberately general: for the exact route, rely on your navigation app, which will account for current construction and traffic.
Travel times are approximate driving estimates. At rush hour, especially on the interprovincial bridges, allow a few extra minutes.
From downtown Hull
From downtown Hull, the simplest route is to head north on Boulevard Saint-Raymond or Autoroute 5, then follow Boulevard du Mont-Bleu. The drive usually takes about 5 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.
From the Plateau
From the Plateau, take Boulevard des Allumettières east, then Boulevard Saint-Raymond north to Boulevard du Mont-Bleu. Allow about 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.
From Aylmer
From Aylmer, take Boulevard des Allumettières or Chemin d'Aylmer east toward the Hull sector, then Boulevard Saint-Raymond north. The drive takes about 15 to 25 minutes depending on where you start and on traffic.
From east Gatineau and Pointe-Gatineau
From east Gatineau or Pointe-Gatineau, head west to the Hull sector, then take Autoroute 5 north (Boulevard Maisonneuve also gives access to it from downtown Hull) to the exit for Mont-Bleu. Allow about 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic.
From downtown Ottawa
Four interprovincial bridges connect downtown Ottawa to the Hull sector: the Portage Bridge, the Chaudières Bridge, the Alexandra Bridge and the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge. The Macdonald-Cartier Bridge leads directly onto Autoroute 5, which takes you north to Mont-Bleu. The Portage, Chaudières and Alexandra bridges bring you into downtown Hull, where you can take Boulevard Saint-Raymond or Autoroute 5 north.
Depending on the bridge and the time of day, the drive takes about 10 to 25 minutes. Bridges can be closed or restricted during construction work, so check your route before you leave.
By public transit
Mont-Bleu is served by the Société de transport de l'Outaouais (STO). Since routes and schedules change, use the STO trip planner or your transit app to find the best option from your starting point, including from Ottawa.
